Vanilla bean cake. Simple and swoonworthy. The recipe is from A Good Day to Bake, a cookbook we sell in the shop. It was, in a word, superb. (Name that 1980's movie!) Also, scraping seeds from actual vanilla bean really makes a girl act a certain way.
